So after MUCH deliberation I’ve finally discovered what endlessqwest will be about for the next few years. It will chronicle the journey and adventure of purchasing my own piece of off grid heaven in the beautiful state of vermont, and the steps it takes to transform it into my own self sustaining survivalist paradise! Since i’ve already been taking the necessary steps to achieve my own idea of the so called american dream, i have a lot to catch you up on.
Our second goal is to become an online store. This may take some time and lots of hard work. So until then…
Endlessqwest will post articles on a wide range of topics pertaining to the acquisition and creation of our own little slice of heaven in the wilds of Vermont. Everything from how to save for your own land, where to buy it, what criteria you should look for before purchasing, zoning, structures, resources and how to exploit them without harming the natural order and much much more will be discussed as we go through each step ourselves! We have created many categories that, in some form or fashion, will cater to people who are interested in various fields such as survival, outdoor enthusiasm, hunting, green practices, food storage, water collection and more. Who knows we may even show you how to fix up your quad, or build your own road! We want to provide you, the user, with factual information as well as opinions, stories and our own personal experiences. Our primary focus is to relate site topics to the ever-growing awareness that we, as individuals and as a community, must pave the way to a brighter “greener” future through personal responsibility, preparedeness and knowledge so that even in today’s tough times, you too can have the American dream. With a lot of hard work, some ingenuity and strict budgeting, you can follow us step by step on our journey to becoming completely self reliant.
If we had our way (and unlimited resources) and time and site traffic were of no consequence, this site would be a community, a store, a creative outlet, a self help website and much much more. We hope to turn this site into a means for people to acquire the knowledge and ability to become self sufficient, lead a healthier more natural lifestyle and hopefully generate some revenue so we can continue to change ourselves, and the world, for the better.

The truth is I started this blog in the hopes that one day I could achieve my dream of owning my own business, earn some money, and thereby achieve the ability to travel while I work. I have a passion for travel, culture and the experience of life. I’m an adventurer at heart, and when I can be, in my life too. To me there’s nothing I’d rather be doing than driving my car across the country or hopping on a plane to some far away place that I’ve never seen. I want to live my life they way life ought to be lived; Not behind a desk…or working over 60 hours a week leaving me too exhausted to enjoy my free time.
I’ve been struggling to find a primary focus for this website for some time now, and as it turns out I have many more aspirations than just traveling. I truly want to help people. I believe we will discover our true niche in the very near future. We all have to start somewhere, and this website is our beginning. Personally, we would like to become fully self sufficient ourselves (living completely off the public grid: ‘gridless’), tap into the survival, medical and outdoor enthusiast markets and help others while simultaneously helping ourselves.
It is not easy living and surviving in today’s society and economic climate. We hope you can empathize with our passion and respect for nature, cultural diversity, adventure and honestly just plain old fun. It is with this mindset that we are working towards a brighter greener future. You may not share our vision of what we consider to be “the ideal lifestyle”, but I think we can all agree that no matter how much we pat ourselves on the back, we could always be, and do better.
